GM Jacques took on a few questions from A.J. Perez of USA Today. The highlight:
Q: Should the NHL be looking at curtailing the size of the goalie pads further or possibly making the nets bigger?
Martin: "We still have to monitor the goalie equipment. I wouldn't be in favor of changing the size of the nets. I know the league has done a lot by working with the goalies on ways we can help improve the equipment design, but still maintain the safety of the goaltenders. We're going in the right direction."
