"Can someone please help Jay Bouwmeester? With the possible exceptions of Bryan Allen (Because he used to be a Canuck) and Brett McLean and David Booth, he's the only decent thing on that God-forsaken team. He NEEDS to get the fuck out of Florida before it steals his soul. If he finishes out these year in a Panthers jersey I'll be shocked. I seriously want to come up with some sort of Blackhawk Down-ish rescue mission to save this guy.

Jay Bouwmeester is (a) way to talented and (b) way too genuinely nice of a human being off the ice (seriously, the guy is just an absolute class act) to be on that team. and he's been loyal to that organization and they've dicked him over and made ridiculous front office decisions (the least of which is forcing him to shower with Evil Soupy and Weiss the Ferret on a regular basis) and he deserves the chance to be successful."
