you really think so? We’ve pretty much controlled play most of the 2nd and all the 3rd. outshooting ‘em pretty easily. outchancing them motst of the game, horts hit the post. I don’t think we’re playing that poorly, their ‘tender is just making the saves. he’s hot.
Don’t wish to be a jerkoff, but there’s been nothing I’ve seen to suggest the Cats have held ownership over anything in the past two hours.

I would have been ok with this if this hadn’t been the same team that emabarrased us last time we played them and if DeBoer hadn’t been promising they would be ready to play. They didn’t have the worst ganme I’ve seen them play, bu the Isles played superior back checking and the Panthers always seemed to be one step behind the puck. All of their passes across the middle have been too long and their dump in have been too fast. They effectively stalled our powerplay when the Panthers tried to keep two men on the point by not allowing them to have any breathing room to set up. That sort of pressure on the blue line has seemed to work severeal times against the Panthers. Some teams are smart and know that’s where a lot of our offense starts from. They had some better set ups when they played the umbrella formation but then there was a guy lacking in the corner or in front of the net.
The Islanders clearly wanted this one more. Now we just have to see how they respond to the Maple Leafs andmore importantly the Islanders again in a couple of days
