Cory Murphy and Rochester begin January home slate

" Veteran defenseman Cory Murphy, in just his second game with Rochester as part of his conditioning stint from the Florida Panthers, netted his first career American Hockey League goal and assisted on another to lead the Amerks. Murphy shows three points (1+2) in two games with Rochester."

i imagine the level of play is similar to what he dominated in Finland. Still aint the NHL. Good to see him dong well tho, confidence always helps

I guess “veteran” is now defined as just about one-plus year in the NHL (in the lineup and on the IR).

Seriously, good to see him getting the ice time he deserves.
