Panthers Video Rewind, 10/31: No Blues for these Cats

Some good stuff to be found in between the goal scoring. Florida really stepped up their play in all ends. Hats off to Tomas Vokoun and his efforts; a rock in net, body, and mind on this night. The shutout simply capped it.

Notice that you have our entire 2nd line on that poll. Apparently all Horton needed was to be paired up with some ‘older guys’ and suddenly he isn’t such a cement head.

Great game, but that highlight package has a glaring example of something that irritates me about current game broadcast production: doing interviews while the game is on. If you want to interview guys, do it between periods. What I don’t want to hear when there’s a goal being scored is some schmuck talking about something that’s not the goal.

Now that’s out of the way, I’m sorry I might have to miss Wednesday’s game. On Thursday, I didn’t care.
