Remember this guy? Panthers (re)claim winger Steve MacIntyre

Steve MacIntyre

#33 / Left Wing / Florida Panthers

6-5

250

Aug 08, 1980

Had a feeling about this guy ever since the Cats waived him in September of '08 during a rather strong training camp, if I recall correctly.

Anyway, you wanted muscle? Here ya are. At 250 pounds, he brings an element missing since Nick Tarnasky's unfortunate meld with a Chris Neil fist what seems like forever ago. MacIntyre's goods can be found at HockeyFights. Some funny stuff at their bulletin boards, as well.

Well, what's your take? Does this solve the "physicality" issue? Or just another variation of Whack-a-Mole?

Thanks to SNOOP97DAWG for the earlier FanShot.

Eminger?

He got his chance, at the expense of Nick Boynton, and probably a playoff spot, and was unimpressive. I don’t blame them for letting him go. Boynton on the other hand, head case, but good player, lots of heart and the team played better when he was in the lineup. DeBoer needs to get over himself.

well, yeah I know he was terrible. But I was referring to the beef between PDB and the big guys.

I’m definitely with you on those guys (Belak & Boynton).
