Florida Panthers vs. Boston Bruins

Stanley Cup of Chowder        *        Panthers vs Bruins GameDay Coverage        *       TSN Preview

Four days off and what's the score? Ville Koistinen is finished finally at his natural position, some new blood is brought (back) into the fold with toughie Steve MacIntyre, and Scott Clemmensen, aka Goaltender 1-B, might find ice time a little harder to come by. Other than that, it's smooth sailin'. Oh, and the B's Byron Bitz is stoked for this one.

Big thanks to Michael Hurley at NESN for giving us a spotlight, and take a drive over to Stanley Cup of Chowder for their take on Cats-Bears, Game One (and we've got your back, Murph...).

Looking forward to the LA game on Monday; actually, anytime we can see a Western club is refreshing

by mjdivo on Nov 12, 2009 8:11 PM EST up reply actions

I was getting worried about that going into this weekend…then I remembered I have GameCenter. Hope it still works.

by Donny Rivette on Nov 12, 2009 8:12 PM EST up reply actions

you’re a lucky man..

by mjdivo on Nov 12, 2009 8:12 PM EST up reply actions

Paying dearly for it, considering the billing errors they’ve thrown my way, and I have yet to use it for the first time since March. I’m an idiot.

by Donny Rivette on Nov 12, 2009 8:13 PM EST up reply actions

Whats happening Saturday?

by Karl Selvig on Nov 12, 2009 8:13 PM EST up reply actions

by The Rat Trick on Nov 12, 2009 8:17 PM EST reply actions

i was kind a nervous for allen. didn’t want him to hurt his knee

by The Rat Trick on Nov 12, 2009 8:18 PM EST reply actions

May I introduce Steve MacIntyre? Cleared waivers, btw…off to Rochester

by Donny Rivette on Nov 12, 2009 8:19 PM EST up reply actions

that was kinda a wimpy fight by Allen…

by mjdivo on Nov 12, 2009 8:20 PM EST reply actions

bad knees are evident

by The Rat Trick on Nov 12, 2009 8:20 PM EST reply actions

ok, the saturday night thing makes no sense. it’s a new york team, it’s sat. nite and the number one pick is playing

by The Rat Trick on Nov 12, 2009 8:21 PM EST reply actions

Remember last year when FSN declined to show the Cats (deep in the playoff hunt) in favor of an Orlando-area HS basketball game? Or was it football?

by Donny Rivette on Nov 12, 2009 8:24 PM EST up reply actions

Ballard’s gonna ride the bench in 3rd. DeBoer don’t play this.

by Donny Rivette on Nov 12, 2009 8:26 PM EST reply actions

would like to see the forwards press the guys on the point some more

by The Rat Trick on Nov 12, 2009 8:30 PM EST up reply actions

Got to stop with shots-allowed (cumulatively). Not even fair to subject these guys – year after year – to numbers like that

by Donny Rivette on Nov 12, 2009 8:31 PM EST up reply actions

he’s looking good. boys need to get him a lead

by The Rat Trick on Nov 12, 2009 8:31 PM EST up reply actions

I’m half expecting Vokoun to make the 56th save, rush down the ice, and take a shot on Thomas. Someone’s got to do it.

by Donny Rivette on Nov 12, 2009 8:32 PM EST up reply actions

… he’s certainly unassisted at the moment. :-(

by OldDave on Nov 12, 2009 8:39 PM EST up reply actions

D-Wade just posterized Varejao, got me to take my eyes away from the Cats for a second even!

by alterego6487 on Nov 12, 2009 8:39 PM EST reply actions

If Panthers get it, no. If Bruins get it, yes.

by Karl Selvig on Nov 12, 2009 8:45 PM EST up reply actions

i know, unfortanately i agree

by alterego6487 on Nov 12, 2009 8:55 PM EST up reply actions

Goal?

What’s this goal of which you speak?

by OldDave on Nov 12, 2009 8:56 PM EST up reply actions

yeah. long day at work; I’m not completely here, so to speak.

by OldDave on Nov 12, 2009 8:58 PM EST up reply actions

From the SE...

ATL over NYR 4-2, end of two
MIN over TBL 3-1, seven to go in second

by Donny Rivette on Nov 12, 2009 8:59 PM EST reply actions

Stamkos with the goal….My fantasy team is STACKED. malkin, nash, cory perry, mike green, nabokov

by alterego6487 on Nov 12, 2009 9:02 PM EST up reply actions

Gonna be a shame that someone has to lose this game; both clubs are earning it

by Donny Rivette on Nov 12, 2009 9:04 PM EST reply actions

i thought you said we were earning the game? i’ll admit i haven’t been watching that closely.

by alterego6487 on Nov 12, 2009 9:09 PM EST up reply actions

Man..,from what I recall, this game has had “playoff style” written all over it. Totally unexpected.

by Donny Rivette on Nov 12, 2009 9:22 PM EST reply actions

ha like you would know….i don’t remember things that far in the distant past

by alterego6487 on Nov 12, 2009 9:25 PM EST up reply actions

3rd period was good. BTW, Boston radio call sucks – they miss like half the detail.

by coasterg on Nov 12, 2009 9:29 PM EST reply actions

Lost the feed sigh.

by coasterg on Nov 12, 2009 9:33 PM EST reply actions

by alterego6487 on Nov 12, 2009 9:34 PM EST reply actions

by mjdivo on Nov 12, 2009 9:34 PM EST reply actions

by alterego6487 on Nov 12, 2009 9:37 PM EST reply actions

Holy Crap ...

by OldDave on Nov 12, 2009 9:38 PM EST reply actions
