Outshot - yet again - through three playoff-style periods, the Cats oulasted Boston and their reigning Vezina Trophy winning goaltender to leave the Hub City with a brutally hard-fought victory and two exceptionally important points.
Shootout-shutouts are a rarity, and even fewer are accomplished when stopping 40 shots, but that's exactly what Florida's Vokoun - whose last three wins have been shutouts - did on a night when several recently-injured Panthers worked their way back into the lineup. Cory Stillman played the hero role, the only shooter to score in the extra frame of the shootout. Lucky or not, 13 points beats the tar out of 11.
