He could get stuck at The Cheetah. That would be a fine start.

Battle of California        *      Kings at Panthers GameDay Central        *     TSN Preview

Yes, that's two games in a row for a guy who hasn't pulled such a stunt since his days pandering for cheap parking and even cheaper tickets on Asylum Avenue. Usually, both were more than possible in the halcyon early-nineties, Hartford-style.

Really stoked to see L.A. (tagline: Pride = Passion = Power) live for the first time since Gretzky was sipping gin & tonics aboard Air McNall.

Rudy Kelly and the legendary Battle of California is covering this one from the expected bizarre left-coast perspective (how do they deal with games at 4:30pm local? Doesn't anyone work out there?), and there's always the distinct possibility a couple of a few rogueish Ducks and Sharks (Darks? Shucks?) faithful finding their way into the conversation as well.

And somehow we're supposed to be intimidated by purples, browns, and teals. Breathtaking.

While we're on the Kings, will a day ever go by when Luc Robitaille isn't front page for them? No love for this guy?

Hope to see a few of you out at the BAC. Enjoy the conversation, and Go Cats.

Looking forward to tonight’s game – Kings are a rarity with the scheduling.

BTW, the Gamecenter experiment is a bust – get this the NHL considers Melbourne Fox Sports Florida Panthers territory although we cannot get the games broadcast here. We get the Lightning. Sigh – off to order Center Ice.

by mjdivo on Nov 16, 2009 8:35 PM EST reply actions

All that comes up is a tv with a question mark above it. Then I click over it and it brings my to justin.tv but no video pops up…

by mjdivo on Nov 16, 2009 8:40 PM EST up reply actions

hm, maybe go thru justin.tv to get it…idk what could be the problem

by alterego6487 on Nov 16, 2009 8:41 PM EST up reply actions

ha, when i do that it tells me to put in an access code because it’s a private channel.. This is frustrating.

by mjdivo on Nov 16, 2009 8:46 PM EST up reply actions

Can you post the address from justin.tv (in the window that you are watching it on). Last try… Thanks…

by mjdivo on Nov 16, 2009 8:46 PM EST reply actions

Speaking of half price

The concession folks accidentally sold me a cookie for half price.

Love Keith Ballard

But he was probably a little overzealous on that one.

Didn’t hurt, he picked a good spot.

If consequences dictate the course of action, then it doesn't matter what's right, it's only wrong if you get caught. If consequences dictate the course of action, then I should play God...

3 backhands in a row? really?

by milhouse on Nov 16, 2009 10:13 PM EST reply actions

I would much rather have a team that can protect a lead than one that can win in the shootout…

by mjdivo on Nov 16, 2009 10:14 PM EST reply actions

I missed the game, got out of work at 9 and it took me 30 minutes to go 2 miles on 95 due to traffic, so this was all i saw.

Heard that Oreskovich goal on the radio though. I think he’s gonna be a good one.

by milhouse on Nov 16, 2009 10:15 PM EST reply actions

Yeah, that was a good one. It was completely a result of hard work in front of the net by the whole line.
