All yours once again kids. Anything you like: new Cats ownership, loss to LA, Oreskovich's first goal, McArdle's fight, the joys of Sunpass. Whatever.

I enjoyed the game, for the most part, despite the loss. We took on too many penalties; questionable or otherwise. I really would have preferred Nathan as one of the 1st three, in the shootout. I know Stillman had a goal and an assist, but Horton did get a goal that game, plus he came through on the last shootout, where Stilman didn’t.
agreed, would have liked to see Horts on the SO, he has to shoot there and that wrist shot of his seems to be making much more noise this year then recently. BUT, we’ll take the point and move on. too many penalties killed us this game, and in the recent past and that is something that needs to be corrected! overall, though, i thought we played pretty well and it seems as though some of those “dead on arrival” at the start of the season are starting to come alive.
Hey, if you told me when Booth went down that we’d only have two regulation losses in his absence, i would have been ecstatic!!!
Florida a non-hockey market?
Don’t know if anyone else saw this, but:

Just more idiocy from bloggers who don’t understand differing market dynamics. Its like the legion of Canadian bloggers and newspapers who, year after year, make similar commentary and then when they winter here attend a bunch of games and pay a premium to go.
Its not your typical market, and losing effects ANY team’s attendance eventually – 10 years of no playoffs would severely effect the attendance of any NHL team. Go look at Ottawa, hockey hotbed, they are having attendance and fan issues because they are losing this season. In the past you’d have to sell your soul to get a seat, now they’ll give your soul back plus interest if you go to the game.
I like Sunpass
I also loved Oreskovich’s goal last night. That was the result of a lot of hard work by that line. There were some lapses last night and the Kings capitalized, but overall they’re starting to play more like last year’s winners than JM’s squad. If they keep playing like that they’ll win as often as not, and if they keep playing like that, but tighten it up a little and get more shots on net (as opposed to near it), then they’ll win more often than not.
At least I wasn’t embarrassed to be a fan last night, which is more than I can say about the games a few weeks ago. I’m liking that McArdle-Moore-Oreskovich line, though I’m sure Moore will move up when he’s fully healed. Or not. He’s playing special teams and if that line keeps providing offense, why change things? The real question is who goes when Booth comes back?
