Do you think Philadelphia Flyers centre Mike Richards cares that the guy he blindsided — Florida Panthers' David Booth, a U.S. Olympic team hopeful, who can probably forget about that now — is nowhere near ready to play in Florida a month after the nasty head shot KO’d him?

Nope.
I don’t think he’s worried a whiff about it (and many would say he shouldn’t – it’s not his problem – Booth is a pro and knows what he’s into – should’ve kept his head up, etc, etc.
Good find, John.

Not that I’m expecting Ed Snider to send a pie to the Booth house, but that’s hockey…goes both ways. Unfortunately for the Cats, these things tend to tilt the wrong way all too often.

I’m actually more POd that the league didn’t do a damn thing because Mike Richards “is a good guy”. Let me be the one to say, good guys do bad things every once and awhile. He deserved a few games suspension to think about how he wants to be a good guy again.

That’s my take on it as well. I like Mike Richards, but I think he made a mistake and I think the league made a bigger one. League discipline doesn’t mean anything if stars not named Chris Pronger are never punished for infractions.
Florida Panthers: Giving the league a punching bag since 2000.
