First of all I hate the Penguins!
Secondly I hate Cindy Crosby.
Third, Pete does need help with his suits and ties. He’s kinda boring. Maybe we can take him to "The Men’s Wearhouse.
Fourth, I don’t understand what’s going on with Koistenenenen. Fresh legs? Why call up Repik and not dress him? Showcase maybe? I would try to move him. There are a lot of players getting hurt and I’m sure someone can use him. Even if it’s just getting a draft pick back, I don’t care. Other than game one, he’s useless.

Pete sure doesn’t have a lot of use for him, at least beyond a fill-in role. That’s not inspiring a ton of confidence, given Koistinen’s less than 5 minutes of play on Saturday.

I’m sure it was a case of two forwards out, call up two forwards and then game time Pete decided that he would dress seven defensemen. Maybe another team had a scout there. Maybe he didn’t like what he saw from Repik in warm-ups. It doesn’t seem like it was the plan for Repik to come from Rochester to sit in the press box.

They definitely need to do something with him, though. I think Garrison’s a good enough call-up that we don’t need to keep him in case of injuries to our guys. I don’t think they’re in a hurry, though.

I need printer ink.

Who’s cheapest for HP refills? OfficeDepot? OfficeMax? UberOfficeDreadnaught?

by Donny Rivette on Nov 23, 2009 10:44 AM EST reply actions

Staples, you get 10% back on purchasing ink as well as $3 back when you recycle your old ones. Oh, and I work there lol.

Anyone watch the MLS Cup Final last night? Anyone care about the MLS? Went to penalties and Landon Donovan booted one over the crossbar, pretty hysterical. Salt Lake won it despite being a sub .500 team in the regular season, nice little upset.

It was the cup final? I didn’t even know. I watch Mexican football because it’s what’s on broadcast. I also watch EPL, but I have to go out to the pubs for that.

so much stuff.

1) like the pants, feeling i’m gonna like this new uni tonight. gators are pulling out new unis also this week.
2) love the comment on the power rankings, and that we’re ahead of the rangers. still, just power rankings, they don’t really mean much. however, very much the same thing we would say about the team.
3) trading Horton right now would be retarded. however, i’m not worried about losing Olesz if it is indeed for a big #1 center. every team should be on the lookout right now anyways…so i’m not surprised if we would be.

Horton thing’s not happening. Been going on for weeks, begun by Malkin-to-the-Kings, so take it with proverbial grain of salt.

If for whateverr reason Sexton (and by extension Siegel/Viner) decide to dump Horts, it wouldn’t be until well past the halfway mark.

I am in the process of moving Devin Setoguchi for Nathan Norton in my fantasy hockey league to join Weiss and (to a lesser, more injured extent) Booth. Go Sunshine Express!

Third’s look cool, can’t wait to see the whole kit and kaboodle to see how they stack against my other favorite team the MN Wild (I know a cats and wild fan, preposterous, but it happened :P )

That’s a lot of faith in Horts…seriously, good luck with it. He and Weiss are definitely slamming home the points right now.

Thanks! I think it will work out, my team has been rolling but missing my number one RW has cost me two close matchups; Horts is built like a rock (sorry Chevy fans) and won’t let an injury like Gooch’s nag him all year

Yeah the deal got done; Pouliot for Latendresse; first glance seems like a wash but a change of scenery could be a spark for both, and for new Wild player Andrew Ebbett as well!
