I would happily join the fun here tonight. But I’ve been at or watching every Hurricanes game this season and 9 losses in a row is cause for any poor soul to require alcohol while witnessing this epic collapse.

Was thinking of that earlier.
Hits during the games are down from last year (during the playoff drive), since the club began losing quickly to start the season. Interest wanes, and all.
As the wins come, so will the traffic. Otherwise, it’s up all the way around during daylight hours. Bizarre. Blowing away last yea, hour-to-hour. The eyeballs are there, just not participating yet.
If they can string up a bit of success, it will trickle down to associated sites; this one included.

I stand by this: Carolina is our only “rival”. And not a seriously emotional one, at that, but the only one we’ve got.
thats what 9 years without playoffs gets you. no ones done anything to make us hate them, except the Raleigh Dive Team
In their favor, they’ve had the same ownership, same management, and basically the same coaching since they moved from Hartford. THAT’S stability.

WOO!!!! WOO!!!!! besides that first period, another solid effort and another good feeling at the end of a night.
BTW, I loved the idea proposed earlier in the chat about someone buying slingbox and broadcasting. It would be seriously appreciated.
I’m considering it but I’ll probably wait for Center Ice to have a promo again, which I know they will – its just when. As for the Slingbox, its easy to get a cheap one on ebay or Craigslist.
Center Ice usually promos when they want you to buy it…like the beginning of the season and the beginning of 2010. don’t expect that anytime soon.
