Regardless of their record, you've gotta hand it to the Cats as we enter the 17th game in 29 nights. That's a grind (and it ain't over yet).
Stephen Weiss and Nathan Horton (really have to set up a macro key for them) carry their hot play into Nassau Coliseum, while Dominic Moore is expected to return, and defenseman Jordan Leopold evidently won't miss any time after taking a puck to the foot on Saturday. Tomas Vokoun gets the start.
The Isles downed reeling Boston in a 3-2 OT thriller at home Saturday behind Frans Nielsen's winner in the extra frame (and apparently a few fans were pretty stoked). Forward John Tavares has 6 points in as many December games. Matt Moulson scored a goal and an assist against the Bruins. Jon Sim, a short-term Panther in 2006, has five points (2 goals) on the season.

Winner of this game could jump into a tie for 8th, depending how other games go. Considering we’ve won twice in our last 12 games and still playing a game that could put us in the picture… considering our injuries and AHL-calibre 3rd\4th lines, its hard to believe…
SUPREMELY hard to believe.
That and we’ve had zippo help from other teams (lookin’ at you, ATL) it is amazing

Thanks to Center Ice, I’ve done my utmost to avoid watching the Panther feeds. Bill Lindsay may have scored one of the more famous goals in Panther history, but God is he hard to listen to…
I prefer the Panthers feed to opposing team feeds on most occasions. Homerism is rampant and having to listen to that is the greater evil than listening to Billy Lindsay.

I’ve gotta give Randy credit….the first game I ran the board he butchered my last name but has gotten it perfect ever since. He is usually TERRIBLE with names. If you listen to him enough, you’ll hear him pronounce the same guy’s name like 3 or 4 different ways in the course of 1 game
