Monday Caterwaul - Panthers Open Forum - "We Didn't Forget" Edition

"I don't know if we're just going to run around and try to fight everybody we see,"

So, what's the topic of discussion for today? Weather sure is delightful...

Most unfortunately...

I won’t be able to watch the game tonight (I’ll be cheering on UK to their 2000th win), but God I hope nothing more than to get back from that game and see some sick highlights on ESPN and/or YouTube. This game’s going to get ugly…

i can careless if we win tonight…. richards knows whats coming the flyers have to know there will be a fight or a brawl i wouldnt care at all who gets suspended i just want payback for booth. he can deny that hes not mad at richards but i would be pissed if some one took away months of something i love to do.

one has to assume there will be some skirmishes tonight, and hopefully some nasty ones at that. we all know how PdB feels about the “goon” on his team, so we know there’s no way McIntyre was called up for his four minutes of ice time to go towards scoring a goal. if they brought him in, it has to be for some ruckus, he’s certainly not gonna produce the points.

as for the win or lose question, after that Dolphins game yesterday, it sure would be nice to get another two points from a team the standings say we should. however, we’ll take two points in my mind as long as Smackintyre roughs up Carcillo, Cote and Richards.

definitely going to be an exciting game to watch.

How about Frolik, Weiss, or D-vo roughing up one of their skill guys, now that would send the statement “We’re mad as hell and we’re not gonna take it anymore.” Maybe there can even be a goalie brawl, it’s been known to happen in Philly.

Get it over with early

Why not start MacIntyre and Duco. Hopefully Philly would answer with Carcillo and LaPerriere. Get it over with and move on with the game at hand. There’s two important points up for grabs and yes while the Panthers may feel the need to retaliate, this isn’t like the 80’s when teams just beat the crap out of each other and we have a bench clearing brawl.

I’m sure each time Big Mac and Duco are on the ice they’ll be looking for a dance partner. AS for Richards, we need to be carefgul/selective on who goes after him. Ballard or McCabe should get the job done!

Let’s not lose focus however of these two poinjts. Philly is down and we need to take advantage of that!

let us not forget that David will be with the team in Philly, also….he’ll be there firsthand to see what happens

ANGER MANAGEMENT.....

It’s all a crock if you ask me. The Panthers and every other team would love to have Richards on their team… It wasn’t a great decision by him, but the league hasn’t taken the necessary steps to take these types of hits out of the game…

Panthers best chance is for Duco to agitate Carcillo into penalties…. They don’t really want to go toe-to-toe with the Flyers, or Cote, Asham, Carcillo, Lapierre, Hartnell, and Pronger will have a field day on them… And they’ll probably end up with more guys on IR.. Let’s just hope Allen and Ballard can hit the Flyers half as hard as they hit their own guys!
