Perfect picture for tonight, Donny.
Are you guys wearing those thirds tonight?

I sure hope not…can’t buy a win with them!

And on the first penalty, too, I think.

Ooh, it’s the Hurricanes old back coming in now.
Florida Panthers: Giving the league a punching bag since 2000.
That’s their coach…notice the spate of apparent dives came to an end with the Hurricanes after Lavi was shown the door?

Which one? Henrik Lundqvist or Chad Johnson?
Florida Panthers: Giving the league a punching bag since 2000.
Well, the NHL spelled the Norris Trophy winner as “Lindstrom”, so anything’s possible
by Donny Rivette on Dec 21, 2009 8:15 PM EST up reply actions
Must be, since Lidstrom was a 6-time winner

Randy Moller:
“Now to Hartnell… desperately needs a haircut”
Florida Panthers: Giving the league a punching bag since 2000.
They had Hartnell night last season – handed out wigs with his cut to the kids. It was during their game with the Panthers last season.
AROUND THE SE...
TBL and NYI tied at 1, mid-second…ew
NYR and CAR tied at 1, late in second…ew
MON and ATL tied at 1, mid-second…ew
WAS: night off
NYI are trying. 2-2 now. Refs call Tavares on hogwash, then ignore Stamkos doing the same. Blah.
Lighthouse Hockey: Eyes on Tavares, mug full of Moulson.
I thought only Pens got that kind of protection…

Still 20:00 to go. Big Mac’s been fairly quiet so far.

And as we all know, a 2 goal lead does not ensure a victory.

W00t!!!
Frolik makes up for his earlier penalty. 3-0!
Florida Panthers: Giving the league a punching bag since 2000.
There should be a Panther logo on that helmet…

So, Evan...
You never told us about the ribs. Were they rockin’?

"Nathan Horton has a huge pair!!"
That one’s courtesy of Randy Moller. Three more to guarantee the win.
Florida Panthers: Giving the league a punching bag since 2000.
C’mon Johnny, do you really think the phlyers have 4 goals in them? Not the way they are playing so far…
I’m not saying this is a gimme yet, but it sure looks good right now.

i say when booth comes back he has to earn his way on to this line. we’ll see what it’s like in a few weeks, but if frolik-weiss-horton keep scoring at this pace it would be blasphemous to break them up.
Frolik My Balls (my fantasy team) is playing against Vokoun, part of me doesn’t want the shut out!

this game couldn’t have broke any other way. physically dominating and on the score board as well. haven’t had this much fun watching the panthers in a while.
This game is payback for Booth. Big time. Good to see the Cats have it in them.

Question...
I forgot to set up the DVR to record this — worth recording the 2AM condensed rebroadcast?

Allen you fool!
You’ve got less than seven minutes left and a three goal lead and you’re about to get a three minute power play. Don’t take a penalty!!!
Florida Panthers: Giving the league a punching bag since 2000.
Bad Moller!
Don’t ever call the win before it’s over. I don’t care if there’s 1:30 on a Panther PP and 1:57 left in the game. NEVER! Call. The. Game.
Florida Panthers: Giving the league a punching bag since 2000.
Yay!
Unfortunately, MTL-ATL is going to OT, so we’re only tied with ATL until the game ends.
Elsewhere, the Rangers won, so they’re still two points back. Tampa won, so they’re four points back. Boston’s up 1-0 over Ottawa.
So, we’re still in eighth no matter what until Wednesday.
