BS Boarding call on Radek. It was a love tap.

by coasterg on Dec 21, 2009 7:25 PM EST reply actions

Carcillo…what was that? Didn’t clip Tvo but was it some form of intimidation? Brainless.

by Donny Rivette on Dec 21, 2009 7:30 PM EST reply actions

Love to know where the penalty for that was. Pure interference call.

by coasterg on Dec 21, 2009 7:33 PM EST up reply actions

I’m waiting see Laviolette Hockey take hold in Philly. Already had one dive tonight.

by Donny Rivette on Dec 21, 2009 7:34 PM EST up reply actions

Considering he’s getting free rein to do whatever the hell he wants by the refs and now the bad McCabe call to make it worse.

by coasterg on Dec 21, 2009 7:37 PM EST up reply actions

Yep. When they talk about calling a tight game, its only against the Panthers, not the Flyers. League needs to get slapped down on it.

by DarthDaddy98 on Dec 21, 2009 8:12 PM EST up reply actions

How do you spell the Rangers goalies name?

by studyaid on Dec 21, 2009 8:09 PM EST reply actions

The one that’s playing now, I can swear the promo after Happy Pony has it spelled incorrectly

by studyaid on Dec 21, 2009 8:11 PM EST up reply actions

Which one? Henrik Lundqvist or Chad Johnson?

Florida Panthers: Giving the league a punching bag since 2000.

We’ve got Canes-Rangers on the telly. We’re cheering on the Canes. Rangers are right behind the Panthers. We need them to lose. Montreal-Atlanta is a toss-up. That one going to OT would be bad.

NYI are trying. 2-2 now. Refs call Tavares on hogwash, then ignore Stamkos doing the same. Blah.

C’mon Johnny, do you really think the phlyers have 4 goals in them? Not the way they are playing so far…

I’m not saying this is a gimme yet, but it sure looks good right now.

by DarthDaddy98 on Dec 21, 2009 9:11 PM EST up reply actions

I’m saying I’ve seen too many late collapses and seven goals is a guaranteed win. Not that they can’t (or won’t) win with four. Just that I’ll relax when they’re up by seven.

i say when booth comes back he has to earn his way on to this line. we’ll see what it’s like in a few weeks, but if frolik-weiss-horton keep scoring at this pace it would be blasphemous to break them up.

by OldDave on Dec 21, 2009 9:48 PM EST up reply actions

Yay!

Unfortunately, MTL-ATL is going to OT, so we’re only tied with ATL until the game ends.

Elsewhere, the Rangers won, so they’re still two points back. Tampa won, so they’re four points back. Boston’s up 1-0 over Ottawa.

So, we’re still in eighth no matter what until Wednesday.
