Did Hartnell get an instigator penalty for that. If there is ever an example of an instigator it is Hartnell getting his ass kicked on a good clean check and starting a fight to salvage his ego.

Nope. I’m pretty sure there wasn’t even a power play given, but definatly no instigator or 3rd man in. Attrocious call… Awesome hit though.

I’m not surprised. I didn’t think that either would have been called.

I know that the GMs were talking about this, and it definitely has to be addressed. I’d be fine with the league being able to review this and fining or suspending players after the fact.
