Panthers GM Martin on Nick Boynton: "He's going to be back with the team", and much more
by Donny Rivette on Mar 4, 2009 10:29 PM EST
Panthers defenseman Nick Boynton says "What? Me Worry?"
Steve Gorten reports on what became an out-of-this-word State of the Panthers address by general manager Jacques Martin.
Bouwmeester. Boynton. Welch. Eminger. DeBoer. Trade proposals. Tax cuts. Saving Bank of America.
Well, some of those.
I can only imagine how a conversation might go between ultra-conservative JM and the (based upon their moves thus far) libertarian triumvirate of Koules/Barrie/Lawton.
He's going to be back with the team ... he knows where he stands and is back to competing and hopefully will help our hockey club down the stretch. I think Nick brings some experience, he brings a physicality, some toughness to our backend. We think that he'll help our team."
It only gets better...click the link above. He hit one out of the park, that Jacques (for those not familiar with South Florida hockey, we're not familiar with this brand of respect). Is the organization actually getting fan-friendly?
