Florida Panthers Keith Ballard named to U.S. Men's National team

PrintAt least one Panther will be going to Switzerland: Cats D-man Keith Ballard returns to the US National squad, scheduled to being its tournament on April 24th.
The 26 year-old native of Baudette, Minnesota returns for a second tour of duty with the American team, having played five games in 2008, collecting 2 assists and 16 penlty minutes.
Congrats to Keith on his latest professional accomplishment. One can only imagine Evgeny Malkin's relief at having made the Stanley Cup playoffs, thereby keeping his schedule booked through late April at the earliest.
