It's an honor to present - for the final time - SBNation's newest hockey blog: The Cannon - our 30th NHL site!
Please head over and welcome Mike, Clint, and Andy to the family. It's a great looking site, with a terrific use of the Union Army theme (which I eat up). The logo is beautiful (and about the use of that shoulder patch, fellas...), and talk about sick timing: the namesake takes to postseason ice for the first time ever this evening.
Get the impression Detroit has very few fans outside of, well, Detroit for this series?

I should have qualified that with a disclaimer about expansions/relocations, but we don’t talk up that taboo here.
We have a western college hockey blog, why couldn’t we have an AHL blog or another college hockey blog.
