Sun-Sentinel: Panthers could financially handle both Vokoun and Anderson
From Steve Gorten (who's been working overtime), relaying GM JM's remarks :
"In the past it has never been an issue."
W4E say: Not entirely certain what that means, but given Florida's current depth at goaltending (and lack of prospects beyond Jacob Markstrom's commitment to remain in Sweden for another year), it's safe to assume mangement wishes to retain its tandem from 2008-09.
Easier said than done, given Andy's public desire to become a starter. Add to that the variety of clubs in the hunt for a Number One.
Could be a long year for Anderson in a situation such as Tampa Bay or Edmonton.

I don’t think JM has made much of a secret that he likes the goaltending situation here. I still think he offers Andy a new contract with a hefty raise, Andy goes out and tests the starter waters and then likely signs with the Panthers.
