Miami Herald: In heat of playoff chase, Fox Sports Florida "declines" broadcast of two Panthers games
From the Herald's Barry Jackson:
FS-Florida will carry a Florida-Vanderbilt baseball game Friday instead of Atlanta's game at the Panthers. And Tuesday's Panthers game at Philadelphia will not be televised because FS-Florida has a Marlins game and Sun Sports has a Heat game.
Neither Friday's nor Tuesday's games were included in the Panthers' 65-game TV package. The Panthers said they spoke to FS-Florida about adding the games, but the network declined, citing programming conflicts and the lack of an available alternate channel.
Red-headed stepchild treatment once more. Isn't there any competition for FSN? A college baseball game? You're joking, right?
UPDATE: Contact the FSN crew and let 'em know what type of injustice this move really is.

I sent in my complaint. College baseball? Really? The ******* Marlins can’t draw any better than the Panthers and they’re going to televise COLLEGE baseball? Lunacy.
Right behind ya, DR. Gonna post it up again at 6:30. A travesty.
