Report: Panthers affiliate Rochester Americans to woo Sabres?

The owner of the Rochester Americans says he is willing to talk with the Buffalo Sabres about becoming their minor league affiliate again (they are currently in their first year aligned with Florida).

If low attendance this season is any indication, Amerks fans might welcome this news.

So much for patience in building a winning organization. One lousy year and they're ready to bail. Nice.

(Amerks' owner Curt Styres) said he's not against talking with the Sabres after a contract with the Panthers is up.

One more thing to watch this summer. JM the GM must be pleased. Add this to his growing list of headaches, including David Booth and Craig Anderson's contract status, acquiring a scorer, etc.
