Housecleaning continues: Drew Larman now a Bruin
I was pretty hot on this guy a couple of years ago; his stats never mirrored my predictions. Randy Sexton, evidently, is not too hot - hence the refusal to re-sign Larman to a new deal. Good luck to him in a crowded Boston organization.
He spent very little time with the Panthers, primarily hanging with the Amerks in Rochester. Fans have asked for "change"...and they're getting it.
Love to hear from our friends in Rochester on this one.

Housecleaning is right
Drew had his moments, but your headline says it best – “housecleaning.” Out with the old and in with the new. Some of the players that have been through the system the past three years could have success elsewhere, it’s not like the situation in Rochester has been ideal for anyone.
The best term would be “deadwood”.
We saw it a lot in Hartofrd and it applies here.

Anthony Stewart? Hmm kind of ditto for Drew Larman
Neither guy ever saw a shot on goal they didn’t like. But that’s not to say they didn’t each bring something special to the table. Stewart fancied himself as a sniper-type and wouldn’t pass the puck to his dying grandmother. Larman just whacked his stick at the round black thing whenever he was in the opposing zone. At last check they don’t keep stats on shots off the glass. He will be a big hit in Providence.
I don’t get the feeling we will ever see this guy in Boston.
