Ville Koistinen, 27 years old. Finland. Shoots: Left.Undrafted; signed with Nashville, May 2006. Acquired by Florida as a free agent, July, 2009.Career Notes: Spent six seasons with Ilves Tampere (SM-Liiga), career-best 8g-26a-34p in 2006.

He could be a decent third pairing guy, depending on who we have to pair with him. I’m guessing our top four are McCabe-Ballard-Allen-Leopold. I’m kind of hoping to see Eminger back, or that Ellerby and Garrison are both ready, so that if one makes the team, we have the other for a call-up.
I’m beginning to think Emmy is a historical footnote. Can’t help but come to the conclusion that the onus will now fall completely on the Ellerbys, Matthias’, Repiks, et al.
Not holding my breath for a big-ticket signing. And some of these kids have to be ready…
