Florida Panthers Ice Dancers prelims complete
Wouldn't be The Colossus if we didn't include this lovely video from The Official Site chronicling Day One of tryouts at the BankAtlantic Center on Saturday. And while we're on it, can't a more effective, original name than "Ice Dancers" be utilized? I mean, c'mon, this is South Florida...
On that note...it's super-terrific Poll Time!

As long as I don’t have to look at them or sit in the area….but of course to say these things is to be acused of being jealous, I still say equal time. One of the guys from the winning team has to do a Ned Braden at the end of the game, or we have male dancers too. Then I’d be more accepting of this stuff. Okay I’ll get off of my soapbox now.
Precisely the point of this, Sydarm. Ned Braden!

Ice dancers don’t bother me….I can take them or leave them. I’m there for the game & they don’t distract me from it. If some of the fans enjoy it, so be it. If someone doesn’t like them, I’d say ignore them.
I do my best. That’s why you’ll often see me carrying a magazine around the arena. Something to read during the pole dance.

I sold my season tix and started sitting elsewhere a couple of seasons ago because the guy to my right kept trying to sit in my lap to get a better view of the dancers. Then the women to my left (one is on the board and has been tryin g to get rid of the dancers forever) complained about them loudly and continually throughout the game) while the guys behind me kept up their Ice Dancer t&a comments to the point where I wanted to drop my gloves on them. Anyway once I got out of there the games became enjoyable again. Behind the bench is so much nicer. End of story :-)
I don’t mind the dancers, I always enjoyed the scenery, although, I don’t know about anyone else, BUT we’re watching frigging hockey. At least get girls that can skate. The ridiculous stage dancing at either end is lame and stupid.
