Florida Panthers all the rage in Port Hawkesbury

A quaint seaside Nova Scotia town has been inundated with Panther sightings. And not of the Alligator Alley variety.
Port Hawkesbury, NS is the location of the Cats' training camp for the next three preseasons, the first of which kicks off today at the Civic Center (and don't miss tonight's banquet - in the Bear Head Conference Room - at 7pm local).
From radio stations to newspapers to , the Panthers have themselves some new best friends north of the border. Wanna make the trip to be there personally? It's only 2211.7 miles, and the directions appear ridiculously simple. But if you just have to see Newark, there's always another option...

I was pricing out flights earlier today thinking about a vacation up there next season for training camp. Not too bad for us here in Rochester to drive to Toronto and fly from there.
You know you love hockey when your family vacations are planned around the sport.
