Around SBN: FSU To Big 12 'Inevitable,' According To Report

Panthers lose. Hard.

But it's only fluffy preseason, so big deal! Right?

Not really; the Oilers were hitting hard from the start. Recently signed forward Mike Comrie - in his second stint with Edmonton - collected four assists in the second period to cement himself in exhibition lore.

The Cats were beaten in every facet of the game; a letdown of this sort was expected, given the rigorous schedule.

Wash it off and proceed to the next contest...and kudos to the Oilers for a very one-sided game.

At least we’re not alone. Less than 24 hours before this game, the Flyers lost 4-0 to the Toronto Maple Leafs…

It’s pre-season…

Forwards

There weren’t many recognizable forward names on the Panthers side…

You're both absolutely correct

And Derek…sorry for not linking to C&B…I was REALLY pressed for time yesterday evening. My bad.

Its preseason – I’m more worried about them getting too tired from playing 7 games in 9 nighs then going to Europe and then flying back and playing their home opener. That’s an exhausting schedule.
