PANTHERS WAYBACK: Theo Fleury does not like Peter Worrell

This makes it a bit easier to digest the loss in Calgary a few nights ago.

As the Cats wing it on over to London to party with the Stones head to Finland for a week of whatever it is they will do, The Box will be scouring the interwebs for video filler. If you've got any tasty suggestions, send 'em our way.

UPDATE:   bad news for the Little Ball of Flame.

No Flaming Fleury….oh well. A noble effort though. And entertaining. Thank you Ttheo!

I was personally pulling for him (it helps that we would only see him once all season). Happy he’s turned the corner.

Me too. And not just because it makes a good story.

So I guess he’s written a book? Interesting thread about him on Calgarypuck.com. Some extremely depressed fans there. :-(

Beast vs goon?

Just my thought, but who ever thought to catorgorize Worrell and Laus in the same ranks is horribly mistaken. Worrell doesnt compare anything to close to how Laus was. But hey, just my thought.

Not nearly close in regard to the level of offensive/defensive contributions on the ice, past their pugilistic skills, but they were both clearly feared and effective fighters.

But yes, if one was drafting a team, I’d take Laus over Worrell.

i wish they would bring back Paul Laus in some sort of management capacity… but they would be respecting the short history of this team.
