Panthers' Stephen Weiss to miss Monday game vs. Thrashers
From the Sun-Sentinel:
Injured center Stephen Weiss (lower body) didn't skate this morning and won't play tonight against the Thrashers. The Panthers called up forwards Shawn Matthias and Jeff Taffe from AHL Rochester. Both skated this morning and will be in the lineup. Winger Steve MacIntyre was sent back to Rochester.
Coach Pete DeBoer said he doesn't think Weiss will be out long term because of the injury. For now, his status is day to day.
Dominic Moore skated on the first line earlier today. I'm actually stoked to see that troika.
