Discuss tonight's Panthers game in real-time after the jump...

Star-divide

Racing to get finished with work before the puck drops at 7, so we're keeping the intro - who's gonna miss it, really - rather short.

Go Cats.

needed win and must win. Vokoun is hot. Let’s hope we give him some cushion to work with!

by The Rat Trick on Jan 20, 2010 7:36 PM EST reply actions

Would help if the forwards shot at something other than knees

by Donny Rivette on Jan 20, 2010 7:37 PM EST up reply actions

oh now you want accuracy. I see.
As well as understand

by The Rat Trick on Jan 20, 2010 7:39 PM EST up reply actions

If they’re aiming for the knees, then the accuracy is spot-on.

by Donny Rivette on Jan 20, 2010 7:40 PM EST up reply actions

Vokuon has a very good glove hand. The Devils aren’t going to waste their time aiming up high every time if Vokuon is just going to snag it out of thin air or bat it away with his blocker. The reason they’re aiming so low is because they’re hoping to get a couple of garbage goals Vokoun gives up on the rebound.

Time for Weiss/Frolik/Horts to get back on the board. Balanced scoring, and all. Can’t rely on Rusty (!) to carry us.

by Donny Rivette on Jan 20, 2010 7:39 PM EST reply actions

that could have been a problem

by The Rat Trick on Jan 20, 2010 7:40 PM EST reply actions

Just sat down and the period ends. Ever mention how much I detest the 7pm starts?

by Donny Rivette on Jan 20, 2010 7:49 PM EST reply actions

Yes, it beats having your wife show up at work dressed as the Grim Reaper (complete with scythe) with a birthday cake enscribed with “You can Run, but you cannot Hide” on your 40th.

Trust me on this…

by OldDave on Jan 20, 2010 7:57 PM EST up reply actions

However, the cake was good and (almost) everybody had a good laugh. ;-)

by OldDave on Jan 20, 2010 8:03 PM EST up reply actions

Ahhhh Campbell and then Frolik, two great chances in a row

by LondonDave on Jan 20, 2010 8:01 PM EST reply actions

mismatch of lines. Can’t have the 4th out there with their first

by The Rat Trick on Jan 20, 2010 8:04 PM EST reply actions

yes, that’s why we’re sitting on the couch with a key board, and Deboer’s behind the bench!

by The Rat Trick on Jan 20, 2010 8:06 PM EST reply actions

but i still would love to have that job

by The Rat Trick on Jan 20, 2010 8:07 PM EST reply actions

i was about to say we need to capatilize on our chances and now this

by The Rat Trick on Jan 20, 2010 8:16 PM EST reply actions

They haven’t shown a replay of either of the two penalties so far :/

by LondonDave on Jan 20, 2010 8:17 PM EST reply actions

is it me or does weiss seem as though he’s still hurting

by The Rat Trick on Jan 20, 2010 8:25 PM EST reply actions

Ugh such a bad goal to give up, he’s making some awesome stops until then

by LondonDave on Jan 20, 2010 8:30 PM EST reply actions
