Sun-Sentinel: Garrison, Oreskovich to Rochester
...and Randy Moller's back!
Sorry to see Victor and Jason get the (temporary) boot. They've done some great work for guys with very few NHL games under their collective belt.

Wow. Oreskovich has been up since what, November? AND he played with PDeB in Kitchener. Wonder what the process behind this move was… Maybe Tarnasky is back? I thought he was back a couple weeks ago, but I don’t remember seeing him on the ice for more than 3 minutes a couple games ago…
I don’t think Matthias could score on a soccer goal, yet he keeps getting chances with the NHLers. I know Victor isn’t a scorer either, but I don’t think he’s that type of player. He works as hard as anyone and deserves a spot on our 3rd\4th line. A lot more than Kreps or Matthias, MacIntyre, Duco… etc…
I know injuries have been somewhat of a story this season, but it’s hard to get any kind of chemistry going when our roster changes on a weekly basis. It’s not that guys have missed games, that happens with every team. It’s that it seems like 5 or 6 guys are rotating in and out for 2 or 3 roster spots. It’s not working. And Oreskovich was one of the more consistent guys… or so I thought. The rookie coach tag is off of DeBoer, and I’m not sure he’s got the future we thought he did this time last year. Then again, i’m not sure how much say he has in these kind of decisions, or if its Sexton and Co.
the inconsistency of the team continues. while victor has provided alot of enrergy, he’s not giving much esle. but he is a typical 4th line energy guy, that actually has a bit of skill.
I would rather Kreps or Campbell be sent down, however it’s probably a contract issue with those two.
As for Deboer, I’m tinnking he’s getting a little over matched in certain situations.
