Desperate times don't always make for desperate measures
Only 2 points back from a 4 way tie for 6th place the Panthers are sitting in perfect striking distance, however after the recent loss of Nathan Horton I still feel that the Panthers will continue to streak together win and points. What hurts you makes you stronger seems to be the case and we have seen it before. Last year’s injury / time off with Tomas Vokoun, Craig Anderson stepped between the pipes and had an amazing performance for the 2 weeks, and if I recall Panthers were also on the injury bug with some of their forwards. During that the Panthers had a great stretch were winning games and continuing to find the back of the net despite key players. I strongly believe that this will happen again now that Horton is out as well as Booth. This will give opportunity that new players will step up and be impact players.
