Bill Lindsay needs to figure out he’s not on radio anymore. Take a break after a goal, let the pictures and crowd shots do the work, then break into your analysis. As soon as Goldie yells goal! Billy starts to run, and it feels like he’s in one of those cartoons where he’s trying to run away from a snowball that keeps growing and growing. those one-liners that he tries to pump out like his partner last year almost always flop. He’s a smart guy and knows hockey, just slooooow down.
But so this doesn’t feel off-topic, nice goal Matthias. What pressure?

Just a Gorgeous Goal
If Matthias can maintain poise under pressure like that he could really give us that little lift we need until Booth and Horton are back in the lineup. 5 periods of shutout hockey against Halak and this kid gets saddled with the best chance we will ever get against him while desperate for a goal. What pressure indeed.
NY Jets = NFL's Chicago Cubs
There's a fine line between hopeful and desperate. Just look @ Jets fans.
