Several days off before Thursday's second home game of the season, and all is fairly quiet on the Florida front.
Jason Garrison is considered day-to-day with a groin strain sustained against Tampa Bay over the weekend; still no recall from Rochester, so perhaps the thinking is this current layover will be enough time for the defenseman to recover. Otherwise, Keaton Ellerby is a likely candidate for temporary replacement. A fat "woot" alos goes out to Tomas Vokoun on his First Star of the Week honor.
