• Rochester banged out a wild third period in Worcester Friday night as the Amerks left town with a 4-3 victory over the Sharks. Chris Taylor scored twice while goaltender Tyler Plante stopped 33 shots.

• Montreal coach Jacques Martin has exceptionally high praise for Habs netminder Alex Auld:  "I always felt Alex was a good goaltender, I had him in Florida."
