Well...
As a South Florida fan who just got into hockey, I’d say I could see where they’re coming from; but also since I am a South Florida fan I would also say, “Quebec ain’t getting my Panthers.”
But no matter what angle the naysayers take, there’s simply no possibility of a relocation by this club. We’ve run down the specifics a hundred times, hence my declining comment.
Edwards has found his niche in recent seasons by being “funny” and controversial at times, so I get the bomb-throwing act. But I don’t ever recall him declaring no one cared about the Whalers – leading to an obvious relocation – when he attended their games while with ESPN.

What a joke Milbury. Talking about how long since the Cats made it…how long has it been since the Islanders made it, thanks single handedly to him!! Didn’t he trade Roberto Luongo and Olli Jokinen for Mark Parrish and Oleg Kvasha??
Quite frankly, Peter Chiarelli can’t even shine Dale Tallon’s shoes.

I’m late to the dance, but thanks for finding, commenting and giving Dale Tallon the chance to comment on this bit of TV rating trash.
One component missing all this time for the business of the Panthers, has been a respected leader. Dale Tallon brings that to the company and the players. He also stands up rather well to the NHL and apparently to commentators who want to put us on the end of a punchline.
