Florida Panthers Call Up Keaton Ellerby from Rochester Americans

Keaton Ellerby packed his bags after the Rochester Americans loss on Friday night to join the Florida Panthers for their game against the Atlanta Thrashers on Saturday. He was out of the locker room before I had a chance to talk to him to see why he's being called up. Chances are it's to try and give Bryan Allen the night off.

The pickings are slim for a defensive player with Jason Garrison injured right now and Michael Caruso just returning from an injury. Jordan Henry has been consistent all season but he seems to have fallen off of the radar of the Panthers.

Ellerby is a player that frustrates fans in Rochester. He has excellent skating abilities but often makes costly mistakes with turnovers or leaving a player unattended.

I have been watching Hockey since 1960, and I have Never seen such a hopeless team as the Fl. Panthers..What is wrong with them? What is wrong with Pete ? send them all down to the AHL except the 4th line, we could not do any worse. I was at the game last night against the Flames…13 shots on goal? you have got to be kidding.. I have never been so embarresed in my life, They were booing Boumiester what a joke . We looked like fools that we are. Thats it, I have had it… they a useless, lazy,have No ambition waste of life lazy bunch of Jokers that don’t deserve the millions that they are paid.
Another thing, When do you intent Volkie to get a rest…LOOSERS????

Sorry, but the Bouwmeester thing is personal. We spend our time and money to come see this team suck year after year. To have that jackass add insult to injury by not only lying to the fanbase, but to then go on about how nice it is to play somewhere with “real” hockey fans isn’t something we could let pass.
