This was either a literal "steal" by Cory Stillman or the quickest drop-pass, courtesy of Steven Reinprecht, in the history of the sport. However it went down, Minnesota goaltender Niklas Backstrom was toast on Florida's game-tying goal, March 9th, 2010.

It was probably a little bit of both. I’m sure Stillman thought it was a drop pass, while Reinprecht figured he’d been robbed. Either way it worked, and I think it shows how aggressive they’ve all been since the deadline, where everyone thinks the puck is theirs to control. Good call by the Blonde Bomber on that one.
