Reminder: Funky 4pm start for Panthers @ Sharks

Jaws_20shark_20attacks_20plane_medium

Not to lead off on a particularly dark note, but if the Panthers (171 GF) somehow manage to lose against the Sharks (220 GF!), and Carolina gains a single point in Phoenix, Florida will claim ownership of last place in the Southeast and 13th in the conference. Feel the Growl!

Forward Jeff Taffe has been recalled from Rochester, presumably as insurance if Stephen Weiss continues having issues with a sore foot. Byron Bitz remains out.

Working right up to puck drop this afternoon but the Live Game Forum will be flying high around 3ish. Please do check out our pals at Fear The Fin, covering today's antics from a San Jose perspective.

Altho typically you would image Sharks enjoying a bloodbath, I’ll be at this game and hoping the two teams give us a good game. Of course, we won’t agree on who should come out on top, :)

Ever get the feeling we are on a collision course with reality?

And a good game is what we’re getting; better by the second
