No idea what this represents beyond the obvious. Hang for tonight's Panthers game after the jump...

This is a big one if they win it

Florida announcer

Just said the Hurricane goalie was built like a linebacker. Since when are linebackers built 6’1, 205?

by Bill Jempty on Mar 6, 2010 7:18 PM EST reply actions

I love ....

… the fact they are running 1996 era promo clips on the Jumbotron. They were (and are) very good.

P.S. GOAL!!!

From now on every game is a playoff game

by Mircseszku on Mar 6, 2010 7:41 PM EST reply actions

Unfortunately that’s the case for Carolina and about five others in the east

by Donny Rivette on Mar 6, 2010 7:42 PM EST up reply actions

It should be fun all the way

by Mircseszku on Mar 6, 2010 7:43 PM EST up reply actions

Nice hit on Gleason

Miami Hockey misses Brendan Burke. RIP sweetie - gone too soon.

Hey friend

weekend’s good – getting ready to go hear my friend’s band later tonight. Catching a bit of the Panthers game until I have to leave.

good game so far!

Miami Hockey misses Brendan Burke. RIP sweetie - gone too soon.

If there's an advantage to the Cats not going overseas to starting next season...

…it’s that we won’t have to watch Clemmer order some type of Finnish Big Mac 67 times throughout the following year

by Donny Rivette on Mar 6, 2010 7:55 PM EST reply actions

I absolutely hate

Those onscreen promos that come on while action is taking place on ice. Does anyone at FSN appreciate how those ruin the broadcasts? Probably not.

by Bill Jempty on Mar 6, 2010 8:07 PM EST reply actions

Just following the lead of others, sadly. But revenue is revenue.

by Donny Rivette on Mar 6, 2010 8:11 PM EST up reply actions

Is it revenue

Their usually promotions of some other broadcast on FSN.

by Bill Jempty on Mar 6, 2010 8:14 PM EST up reply actions

If the other games are sponsored – as they inevitably are – it’s all part of the cycle. But great point nonetheless.

by Donny Rivette on Mar 6, 2010 8:15 PM EST up reply actions

Donny

Does the television networks during the middle of play in a NFL game that cause the action to be blocked? No, so why is FSN doing it?

FSN used to show promos of upcoming Florida games in this stupid fashion too. Maybe it’s just me, but when your watching one game, you don’t want the next one interfering with your viewing.

by Bill Jempty on Mar 6, 2010 8:22 PM EST up reply actions

Show the promos

like now when nothing is going on.

by Bill Jempty on Mar 6, 2010 8:24 PM EST up reply actions

If nothing is going on, eyeballs aren’t on the screen

by Donny Rivette on Mar 6, 2010 8:25 PM EST up reply actions

Can’t speak for the NFL since I don’t watch it, but I’m so attuned to FSN operating this way that it doesn’t frustrate me any longer

by Donny Rivette on Mar 6, 2010 8:25 PM EST up reply actions

As far as the Bud Light Buster commercial…really might be time to retire it.

by Donny Rivette on Mar 6, 2010 8:16 PM EST reply actions

Changing the makeup of the lines so often, can’t blame the players completely for screwing it up

by Donny Rivette on Mar 6, 2010 8:23 PM EST reply actions

nice donny, thanks for helping me change my sn!

by SunriseIceAxe on Mar 6, 2010 8:31 PM EST reply actions

Better and better. Liking Bitz a lot, for a third-liner pressed into duty on the second.

by Donny Rivette on Mar 6, 2010 8:32 PM EST up reply actions

Matthias needs to show more if he wants to stay past june

by SunriseIceAxe on Mar 6, 2010 8:34 PM EST reply actions

Cats are getting little offensive pressure this period.

by DarthDaddy98 on Mar 6, 2010 8:35 PM EST reply actions

by SunriseIceAxe on Mar 6, 2010 8:35 PM EST up reply actions

hopefully would don’t get the december syndrome and let them come back and win in the 3rd

by SunriseIceAxe on Mar 6, 2010 8:36 PM EST reply actions

Great PK work but how long can this “D” hold ’em off?

by Donny Rivette on Mar 6, 2010 8:36 PM EST reply actions

by SunriseIceAxe on Mar 6, 2010 8:37 PM EST up reply actions

by SunriseIceAxe on Mar 6, 2010 8:39 PM EST up reply actions

We’ll see how that works out.

by DarthDaddy98 on Mar 6, 2010 8:40 PM EST up reply actions

by SunriseIceAxe on Mar 6, 2010 8:42 PM EST up reply actions

by SunriseIceAxe on Mar 6, 2010 8:44 PM EST up reply actions

by SunriseIceAxe on Mar 6, 2010 8:44 PM EST up reply actions

Allen completely flubbed that clear; does it rather often

by Donny Rivette on Mar 6, 2010 8:59 PM EST reply actions

Good call…I instinctively slam the eyes shut when he moves in, knowing what’s coming…

by Donny Rivette on Mar 6, 2010 9:01 PM EST up reply actions

Based on that shot, so does Olesz.

by DarthDaddy98 on Mar 6, 2010 9:02 PM EST up reply actions

The Canes are just standing there…

by DarthDaddy98 on Mar 6, 2010 9:01 PM EST reply actions

Blame Lindsey, he just said that Vokoun had a shut-out going

by studyaid on Mar 6, 2010 9:08 PM EST reply actions

Still can’t react to a momentum shift; been a problem all decade year

by Donny Rivette on Mar 6, 2010 9:10 PM EST up reply actions

OT

Vacation planning sucks

by studyaid on Mar 6, 2010 9:15 PM EST reply actions

Get away/ summer vacation/ 40th birthday type trip. Renting a bike in Denver, going to Estes Park, Winter Park, Glenwood Springs, Aspen, Colorado Springs, and back to Denver 10 days total. Family will be following me in the car.

by studyaid on Mar 6, 2010 9:18 PM EST up reply actions

Yeah, I’m looking forward to it. Going in July, like I said, just planning the map, making sure I get plenty of mountain roads, and looking at stops that will make the kids happy

by studyaid on Mar 6, 2010 9:21 PM EST up reply actions

Getting the same as mine, Harley Softtail Deluxe

by studyaid on Mar 6, 2010 9:23 PM EST up reply actions

Here is my map http://tinyurl.com/yah5g75

Actually I need to update just a bit because of a hotel change

by studyaid on Mar 6, 2010 9:22 PM EST up reply actions

I just keep looking at different cities, then changing hotels based on what will make the kids happy, and I think I may have it set. I just need to stop looking at trip advisor

by studyaid on Mar 6, 2010 9:17 PM EST up reply actions

Kreps

is having quite a night…

by DarthDaddy98 on Mar 6, 2010 9:28 PM EST reply actions

Well, here we go, getting our hopes up again. This team is driving me insane.

by studyaid on Mar 6, 2010 9:30 PM EST reply actions

G'nite gang...

We’ll do it all again on Tuesday.

by DarthDaddy98 on Mar 6, 2010 9:34 PM EST reply actions
