- CZE 3, LAT 1: Tomas Vokoun stopped 25 shots in the Czech Republic's victory over Latvia.
- USA 3, ITA 2: Not to be outdone, fellow Cat Scott Clemmensen put the freeze on all but two of 28 Italian shots as the Americans continue to roll in relegation play. We got into World War II a bit late also.
