Florida Panthers 2010 Preseason Schedule
This could be the "best" exhibition schedule the Panthers have been handed in half a decade. As released by the Cats:
- 09/21/10 - @ CAR, 7pm
- 09/23/10 - vs BOS (@ Rochester), 7pm
- 09/25/10 - @ BOS, 7pm
- 09/27/10 - @ MON, 7:30pm
- 09/29/10 - vs CAR, 7:30pm
- 10/01/10 - vs TB, 7:30pm
- 10/02/10 - @ TB, 7:30pm
The breakdown: Seven games over twelve days in two nations, four within the Southeast division, and finally all within the conference; no three-day warp speed romps ferrying the troops from Calgary to Ottawa to Atlanta to Edmonton and back to Sunrise only to open the season hours later in Bhopal. Love the "neutral site" deal in Rochester; few other AHL fanbases deserve it more than Amerks Faithful. Those games against the Bs could prove interesting in that they may well feature the second and third overall picks in next week's draft. Pray daily for a pirate feed.
Curious to see if South Florida locals will be offered discounted tickets for these (literally) pointless matches at the BAC. Greedy? Yep. But c'mon...they're exhibitions.

Not a bad schedule, but what’s annoying about the late home games is that the first cuts have been made. Maybe I’ll have to make a trip up to Buffalo to catch the game in Rochacha so I can get a look at some of those prospects.

Amen, JB. That’s the only redeeming aspect of the preseason.

And here in Rochester we’d like to see the NHL regulars but instead we’ll probably get the Amerks lineup for the season.
If anyone’s interested in going to the game the best seats are in Section 125 (where I sit). lol

We’ve been getting Amerks regulars for years in Sunrise ;)

Yeah, I’ve seen a few of those. Did get to see Crosby pre-season in his rookie season before we all knew he was such a crybaby. And I think Dominik Hasek saw more action in that game than he did all season.
