Jokinen agent Gandler: "A lot of teams" could use Olli
From ESPN's Pierre LeBrun:
"(The Rangers) have not talked to us. I do not expect them to at this point," said Jokinen's agent, Mark Gandler, to ESPN.com. "I thought he played well in New York. I think he has a lot of value in the league. I think a lot of teams could use him. He has a few good years ahead of him. He's healthy, he's got skill and ability."
As for that rumor circulated a while back - which we covered at the time - on Olli potentially heading to the Kontinental League:
"He wants to play in the NHL."

My question is how much would he be willing to take. I actually wouldn’t mind him centering Elias and Zubrus/Langenbrunner in NJ.

New Jersey. I could actually envision that working out. Sweet Lou would lowball him, smartly utilizing performance bonuses as the carrot. That’s the key.

Love him or not, Olli hasn’t been that guy since leaving. There has also been the question of “heart”, but that judgment is a personal decision.

yeah but it’d be a different situation. He wouldnt have a leadership role, wouldnt have to deal with JM, and would be one of our highest scorers, despite his decrease since leaving. I heard the locker-room issues are BS, and was defended in calgary by Iginla and others.
I think it makes a lot of sense to welcome him back, with a paycut obviously.
Obviously, teammates will defend their own. I’d love to see him come in here on a budget-conscious contract and simply tear it up. Will he be given the opportunity? Insanely doubtful; in any case Tallon knows the score far better than we do.
But yeah…it would be very cool to see him back here in a non-authority role.

Boston Centers
If they draft Tyler Seguin, they may look to move on Patrice Bergerson or David Krejci to get under the cap.
Krejci would work nicely on a line with Frolik and might be the guy to get the most of of Olesz as they’ve played together for the Czech National Team
Swapping No3 for No15, plus Krejci brings immediate help and gives us immediate help in the middle.
