Blackhawks Could be Shopping Sharp in Light of Hjalmarsson Offer Sheet?
According to LeBrun the Blackhawks might need to move more salary in order to come in under the cap since they've decided to match the offer sheet on Hjalmarsson. Tallon really has a chance to upgrade the team here, Sharp can legitimately play center as well as wing as anybody who watched the Finals can attest. The only question is who would be appealing to send to Chicago?

Someone’s got to go. However, Sharp’s the one piece they wish to keep. Price will be steep in any case.
You are joking, yes?
Tend to lose my otherwise sterling sense of humor when his name is brought up.

oh…
I guess that the name Rostislav Olesz is a mutually sore spot for both of us huh?
I know that it’s only a video game but I was able to trade him to Colorado in NHL 10, I got Jeff Tambellini in return who has turned out to be a very reliable strong forechecking fourth line winger.
Even at that spot – while ridiculously expensive – he’d be fine if even a modicum of consistency could be developed.

I’ll be honest.
I don’t like Olesz because he’s the single biggest reminder of how bad our management has been in the past, at least to my mind.
Second reason is that he wears number 85, which is my number. So when I bought my jersey I got 85 on the back with my own name as in, “this is what my jersey would look like in the fantasy world where I play for the team I’ve loved since childhood”. However, since Olesz wears 85 I get to constantly be filled in on how terribly Olesz is playing…
