I know what Jokinen accomplished in Florida but yet I’m still everytime stunned when I see his stats. i blame finnish media…

I’m stunned when you look at his averages when with the Cats compared to what he’s done elsewhere. Remarkable.

I agree the precipitous drop-off has been nothing short of remarkable, but his stats were really only that high for two years. He had exceptional seasons, but I never thought he was an elite center. Not to mention, from seeing him play, it looks like he’s lost a step and he wasn’t fast to begin with. I hate to say this, but in defense of Jacques Martin, he traded high and that Jokinen deal is already looking like a steal for the Cats.

How was he as Captain really? I mean was he a good leader, did the others look to him for leadership, to take the bull by the horn? Or did he just kind of keep quiet and try to lead by example?
