Behold the Booth "Root Beer Summit"
Still catching up on things since returning from vacation, but we'd be awfully remiss if this nugget from earlier in the week wasn't posted. Featuring the Panthers' David Booth - in classic arbitrator's gear - hosting local guns Etnie Rosenbaum and (teammate!) J. J. Mazza.
Thanks to Sean at Puck Daddy for the heads-up.

Wonder what he might’ve said a year ago.

A somewhat more critical review of the "Summit"
I would ask if that writer has ever actually seen a hockey game, or saw the Richards-Booth hit.
I think it would be kind of hard for the guy who got railroaded by Richards and then fought him the first chance he got when he returned to playing to say that he thought fighting was wrong. I genuinely agree with and like what he did say “Hockey’s a pretty intense game huh? Sometimes it’s good though, to show some emotion out there.” Fighting is a part of the game of hockey, should two peewees go at each other like NHL enforcers? No. However, do I think that it kills a kid to get into a fist-fight once in their frigging life? No.
I put it down to this. If you don’t like fighting, don’t watch, play, read about, know about, look at, think about, smell, or talk about hockey.
