Staring out the window at some very bizarre weather which I have no choice but to venture in to; I'm suspecting this isn't going to make my travels any easier. Aw well...a buck's a buck.
Thrashers in town this evening for their fourth meeting of the year against Florida; the visitor has marched away victoriously after each of the first three, meaning the Panthers must win to not only even the series but extend a current three-game winning streak. Atlanta has outscored the Cats 8-7 heading into tonight.
So Bryan McCabe's out, Scott Clemmensen and Keaton Ellerby are in, and the Thrashers' leading scorer has yet to record a point over his past five games. Of course, fellow defenseman Toby Enstrom is only one point off of Dustin Byfuglien's season stats, and 12 points in his last nine matches are reason for concern every bit as much as Big Buff utilizing the Cats as slump-busters. Whatever the outcome, it's frankly awesome to care about divisional games once more.
