- SB Naton's NHL Power Rankings for Week 16 are now available at The Hub; yes I blew it by voting for a 5th seed twice. Hopefully that's corrected before it hits the AP wires ;)
- Also from SBN's hockey Hub: Mike Chen and friends' From The Rink has been swallowed into the collective. If you haven't yet visited our NHL Hub, it's a site comprising all the news and commentary from around the network, covering all of hockey. Best of the Best, if you will.
- Seems we can't go a week without mentioning yet another sterling performance for Hamilton by prospect Zach Hyman: a hat trick on Monday raises the OJHL forward's stats thusly: 88 points (37 goals) in 36 games, good for second in the developmental league behind Burlington's Phil Brewer. Princeton continues to salivate.
- Short, sweet, and awfully welcome news: no Henrik Lundqvist - nor his 11-5-0-1 lifetime record vs Florida - tonight.
- Raw Charge's DTV takes a look at the Southeast Division over the the last week.
- DYK: Florida has lost all four (0-1-3) since Bryan McCabe hit IR, with the Cats being outscored 13-7 over the stretch.
Update: though nothing's been made public as yet, it would appear Lundqvist may indeed get the nod for New York. As well, Tomas Vokoun is probable for Florida

Speaking of the Panthers and that clip. Remember Chad Kilger? Toronto owed us one on that, but I’d say the McCabe traded evened it out.

This just in...
Fialkov says that Kulikov is in tonight, as are Higgins and Vokoun.
I was off on Higgins. He’s back on the top line with Weiss, but it’s Frolik that gets knocked down to Olesz’s spot on the second line. Matthias will be centering Booth and Frolik. Steve Bernier will be in the press box while Hordichuk starts with Santorelli and Olesz on the fourth line.
Defense as usual. Ellerby in McCabe’s place.
