Got plans tonight? Change 'em...
Several of our very good friends within Cats fandom have come together to help out the Florida Panthers Foundation with a superb event this evening. Yes, tonight.
Beginning whenever you arrive at 7pm, Duffy's Sports Grill in Plantation will be hosting a completely fan-organized charity drive for funds to aid in the research of pediatric cancer. From the event's FaceBook page:
You'll order off the menu, pay for your own check (Duffy's is including a 20% gratuity to all checks due to the large numbers expected), and make a small donation ($10 per person) to the Florida Panthers Foundation. 100% of the proceeds from the evening will go to the foundation.
A number of raffles will be held (with some very cool merchandise donated by the club and fans alike) while offering an opportunity to help a great cause and enjoying an evening with some terrific folks who share your passion for the Panthers. Come on out!

I’ll be there for sure, might look through some stuff and if I can find it might donate something myself as a small side raffle or something

Nice job everyone! If you weren’t there, you missed out. There was talk of a repeat next year, so make sure you make it out if it happens. I may even know where another signed Noah Welch puck can be procured for giveaway. :)

I missed out ...
… stuck at work until past 8PM working on a customer issue (I love my job. I love my job. I love my job.) I’ve got a signed Pavel Bure puck; wonder what that is worth?
Glad to hear everyone had a great time!
Oh, that sucks. Next year.
I think there was a Pavel Bure puck in the raffle last night. Ballard, Welch & Bure, I think. There was a lot of stuff, it was insane.

It was most impressive. Terrific turnout, great stuff. Murph, Carl, and company know how to do it up right.
